Many of us read about the success of our local theater companies - the Lifeline, Theo Ubique and the Side Project have thrived and "cleaned up" at this year's Joseph Jefferson Awards dinner.

Last Monday I had the chance to see Lifeline Theatre's production of Treasure Island.

ARGH! This is one show that CAN'T BE MISSED: sword fights; gun battles; intermixed with humor and suspense.

It is amazing what kind of movement, drama and action occur on Lifeline's stage. The acting is terrific; the set, phenomenal - a  thoroughly enjoyable experience

I urge folks to get tickets when you can. Presently, the show is scheduled through November 1st.

Congratulations to Lifeline for producing this exciting adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's epic tale of piracy and adventure.
