I flew from Philadelphia to Chicago the other day, and we happened to cruise right over my neighborhood. (I love it when that happens!)

I managed to capture Loyola Beach and Pratt Pier, where I take so many of my lakefront photos. It’s great to see the shape of the beach from this vantage point.

So many times I’ve walked on this beach and looked up to count several O’Hare bound planes coming in from the East. This time my view was reversed.
