This forum is open to the public and is being held in conjunction with the 49th Ward Democratic Party Endorsement Session.
All mayoral candidates have been invited to attend. Gerry Chico, Miguel del Valle, Patricia Van Pelt Watkins and William “Dock” Walls have confirmed. We are awaiting confirmation from Rahm Emanuel and Carol Moseley Braun. We will also hear from the candidates for City Clerk.
After the Mayoral Candidate Forum, we invite you to vote early at the Pottawattomie Park Fieldhouse, 7340 N. Rogers, located just steps from Jordan School.
This is the first Chicago mayoral election in 60 years with no incumbent on the ballot and the next mayor will be taking the reins at one of the most critical points in Chicago’s history. We urge you to attend this session to become a better informed voter.

Mayoral Candidate Rahm Emanuel will be at Charmers Cafe (1500 West Jarvis) on Saturday Feb 5th at around 11:15-11:45 for an event to encourage people to vote early.
