Ring in 2011 Live on ABC 7 at Mayne Stage

Ring in the New Year on TV with ABC 7’s Countdown to 2011 featuring Chicago loved singer/songwriter Terisa Griffin. Teresa Griffin is no stranger to Mayne Stage. Her debut performance brought crowds of devoted rhythm and blues fans and transformed the venue into a soul filled dance party. Her performance is captivating and unique: ranging from her original songs, to crowd pleasing covers. Her stunning and dynamic vocals won her the opportunity to open for artists such as Isaac Hayes and Patti Labelle.

Mayne Stage’s restaurant, Act One, will be open late to serve your culinary needs with their delicious full menu until 1 a.m. Cocktail service will be provided in the venue.

Last Race of the Year

      Athletes United for Peace

The Heartland chapter of Athletes United For Peace will have their last race on the 31st. This is part of a series of 5k runs to promote peace and friendship through sport. All races are open to the public and there is no cost to join.

You can enter on the day of the event. Day of event registration takes place in the Heartland Cafe one hour prior to race time. If you would like to register prior to the event, please stop into the Heartland Cafe and register in the Heartland General Store. Currently they are not able to offer online registration.

New Year’s Eve With 2nd Story

On Friday, December 31st, Morseland and 2nd Story present New Year’s Eve. With 4 storytellers, live music by Mikhail Fiskel & Seeking Wonderland, a champagne toast at midnight, you can’t go wrong! Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door.

We’ll also have two dinner seatings: the first at 5pm and the second at 7pm. Please make your reservations now as space is filling up already. Those joining us for dinner at 7pm will need tickets for the show if they wish to stay for the rest of the evening.

Duke’s Bar celebrates a Grateful Dead New Year’s with Scarlet Mountain.  Free music and nibbles start at 9pm with champagne and kisses for all at MIDNIGHT!!!  Music continues until the band stops playing.
