Date: October 2, 2011
Time: 1:00PM - walk from Glenwood Farmer’s Market

As part of the Grand Opening, the DFA committee has organized a Walk-a-Thon fundraiser. It starts at the Glenwood Farmers Market (Glenwood & Morse) ... it’s Pet Day that Sunday at the farmers market.

The Walk-a-Thon fee is $20, which gets you a T-shirt and goodie bag. You can raise as much as you want in pledges. The funds will go toward ongoing maintenance of the DFA, otherwise known as the Dog Park.

To sign up for the Walk-a-Thon:
* go to http://www.ropadogs.com/
* click on “here” by “full details”
* this takes you to Rogers Park Business Alliance page
* click on “Register” at the bottom of that page

The pledge form is on the Rogers Park Business Alliance page, see “Want to participate without an online signup?”.

If you don’t want to sign up online, you can register day off ... but it’s easier for organizing if you sign up online. Either way, you can still download the pledge form.
