Good News Community Kitchen Serves its 26th Thanksgiving Dinner to Those in Need
— Just one of the 365 daily meals served each year —
As a longstanding non-profit organization in Chicago’s diverse Rogers Park neighborhood, Good News Community Kitchen has been fighting hunger for more than 25 years. With the help of more than 30 partnering organizations contributing food and more than 10,000 volunteer hours annually, the Good News Community Kitchen is the only feeding program in the Chicago metro area that serves warm, nutritious meals every day of the year to anyone in need, without restrictions. On Thursday, the staff and volunteers of Good News Community Kitchen will serve a sit-down Thanksgiving dinner to more than 125 patrons.

Who: Good News Community Kitchen patrons, staff and volunteers, including volunteers from The Village Presbyterian Church of Northbrook.
