Art Exhibition -“Amnetic State” - September 11th, 2009 - $5 cover - DJ J.O.E., ***intermission performance by urban poet***, The Dean White Band, and Jimmy Bennington & Jeff Marx jazz improv
“Amnetic State” shows how artists deal with memory within the process of making work. How the past is represented and reconfigured, to reveal hidden truths, and obvious lies. Sept. 11th still remains a day of infamy and this show looks to embrace the situations and perspectives arrived in this context.
