Rogers Park Shoppers Offered Cash Back for Shopping Local This Holiday Season
Rogers Park Business Alliance is offering shoppers cash back this holiday season when they patronize local businesses, with the hope of encouraging residents to stay in the neighborhood to do their holiday shopping. When customers collect $100 or more in receipts from three or more merchants participating in the promotion, they’ll receive $25 back and if they collect $150 or more in receipts from three or more participating businesses, they’ll receive $50 back. The promotion runs from now until December 31, 2010.

LAST RPPG MEETING OF THE SEASON & HOUSE PLANT SALE TUES., OCT. 26 @ 7pm
Get a great deal on some house plants for $5 or less for Guzmanias (yellow, green, and purple), orchids, pothos, and we'll even toss in some free dried hydrangeas.
We'll also hear about the 2010 Adopt the Public Way gardens and get ready to start the 2011 grants process. Finally, Rogers Park gardeners will share their gardening experiences from what went right to what didn't work quite so much, favorite plants, pesky critters, and more.
Be sure to check in for the last meeting of the season and enjoy all things green and gardening before the snow flies.

Greenleaf Art Center - Fall Classes Begin Oct 18th
Greenleaf Art Center is located in Rogers Park one block west of Clark on Greenleaf Avenue. It is conveniently near the Rogers Park Metra train stop, and is easily accesible via the #22 Clark Street bus. Plus, the Art Center has plenty of free parking.
Greenleaf Art Center provides studio and exhibition space for over forty area artists and is home to five business enterprises. Since its inception in 1990 by Kathie and Denis Paluch, it has grown to become a vibrant part of the Rogers Park arts community. The center hosts a variety of exhibitions, open studio events, art salons and creative workshops throughout the year as well as art classes for both children and adults.
