Transition Rogers Park
Transition Rogers Park Chicago held its first visioning session on June 20, 2009. The ideas generated through interactive, participatory exercises will seed working groups in the areas of community, food, reskilling, transportation and local commerce as "Rogers Parkers" work to build a community that is resilient to the challenges ahead, including climate change, peak oil and the economy. This is the RPGG's big fundraising event that provides most of the monies used to pay for community gardening programs and activties.
