Kegs for Kids: Drink Craft Beer to Help Kids Read Good
The annual Kegs for Kids benefit for Edgewater's Helen C. Pierce Elementary is coming up on Saturday. The craft beer tasting festival has grown out of its previous location at Metropolis Coffee, and this year's event will be at Loyola University's Mundelein Auditorium. 3rd Annual Trick-Or-Treat at Loyola
On Sunday, October 31, 20010, Dumbach Hall on Loyola's Lake Shore Campus will be decked in fun and spooky decorations, courtesy of Loyola's students. Local families are invited to bring their children from 4PM - 6PM to trick-or-treat through the hallways and participate in fun games. Loyola students will wait behind classroom doors with plenty of candy on hand so that neighborhood children may have a fun, and above all safe, halloween experience.

Glenwood Ave Arts Festival - Starts Tonight!
The Glenwood Avenue Arts Fest (GAAF) is a free, weekend-long arts festival that features 100+ artists, open studios, and live entertainment on three outdoor stages. Experience art of all disciplines, music, theater, food and drink on the cobblestone streets of the Glenwood Avenue Arts District in Chicago’s historic Rogers Park neighborhood.
The 9th annual Fest takes place the weekend of August 21 & 22, 2010. There will be a kickoff party on Friday night with the artists' market on Saturday and Sunday afternoons from noon to 9pm.
