Art Classes - Fall 2009
Greenleaf Art Center is located in Rogers Park one block west of Clark on Greenleaf Avenue. It is conveniently near the Rogers Park Metra train stop, and is easily accesible via the #22 Clark Street bus. Plus, the Art Center has plenty of free parking. Greenleaf Art Center provides studio and exhibition space for over forty area artists and is home to five business enterprises. Since its inception in 1990 by Kathie and Denis Paluch, it has grown to become a vibrant part of the Rogers Park arts community. The center hosts a variety of exhibitions, open studio events, art salons and creative workshops throughout the year as well as art classes for both children and adults.More…

Art opening at Studio 7013
This exhibition features the work of local Chicago artists, as well as national and international artists! We are very excited to show off their new work. We'll have a lot of great photography and some masterfully realistic, but emotional, large paintings. "Amnetic State" shows how artists deal with memory within the process of making work. How the past is represented and reconfigured, to reveal hidden truths, and obvious lies. Sept. 11th still remains a day of infamy and this show looks to embrace the situations and perspectives arrived in this context.

New Rogers Park Mural
Lea Pinsky and her husband Dustin Harris spent the summer designing and painting a huge mural with neighborhood kids from Howard Area Community Center. It stretches from Estes to Greenleaf on Glenwood Ave.

Glenwood Ave Arts Fest kick off party!
Kickoff Party this Friday Aug 21st 2009. The Glenwood Avenue Arts Fest (GAAF) is a free, weekend-long event that features artists, open studios, and live entertainment on three outdoor stages. Rogers Park Artist Lea Pinsky
Lea Pinsky is a painter, muralist, arts educator, and former actress.
