Grand Opening of the Pottawattomie Dog-Friendly Area (DFA) - Update

Grand Opening of the Pottawattomie Dog-Friendly Area (DFA) - Update Update: The dog park is NOT completed. We based October 2 on Park District estimates. However, Paschen Construction moves at its own pace ... and they're running late on construction projects for Chicago Public Schools, which took priority. The Grand Opening and Ribbon cutting with Alderman Moore is being postponed for a week or two. The Walk-a-Thon is still ON. While the dog park is not completed, people will be able to walk around the area, which is 75% completed. Sorry for the confusion. I sent out an updated e-mail on Thursday and Joe Moore sent one out on Friday. Bottom Line: the dog park is nearly completed ... and based on what has been completed, it's going to be great: large space, with both a section for large and small dogs.
