4TH ANNUAL GARDEN MEANDER - JULY 27 Meander Along Ridge Enjoy a summer evening stroll through multi-unit and single family gardens lovingly tended by dedicated gardeners, some experienced, some less so but no less enthusiastic, along the Rogers Park Ridge. The meander will conclude with a tour of the beautiful gardens and grounds of St. Scholastica Academy and Benedictine Sisters Monastery. From Rogers Park to Ravenswood, Daley acts on his theater words

On the opening night of “Sweet and Hot,” the charming revue by Theo Ubique Theatre, I poked my head out of the door of the No Exit Cafe at intermission. Such a sultry show required fresh air. It was a beautiful evening. I looked north on Glenwood Avenue and saw the sign for the Heartland Studio Theater. And I looked south and saw the grand marquee for the Lifeline Theatre, an anchor in its 'hood. Read Chris Jones' Chicago Tribune article here...
