Rogers Park Harvest Celebration – Oct 2

Celebrate the changing of the seasons at the Free Rogers Park ‘Harvest Celebration’ on Saturday, October 2, from 1 – 4 p.m., at Willye B. White Park,and all along Howard Street between Marshfield and Ashland Avenues. Complete with FREE hayrides, sidewalk sales, pumpkin sales, market vendors, artists, treats and entertainment. Dress up your pooch and join the costumed Pet Parade at 3:30 p.m. and view artwork by local students

It's time for the Garden of Treasures Sale & Fundraiser, once again to be held at Jarvis Square. The RPGG will again offer great bargains on terrific items for your garden, your home, and you from antique garden furniture to gift certificates from local businesses including a wine tasting for 10 people at Taste, a 3-month membership at V-Tone, Katherine Anne Chocolates, Black Dog Gelato ice cream, grooming for your pet at Rogers Bark and Bark Place, and much more. Oh, and we will also have plants to sell.

The YouTube video Glenwood and Morse 2010 featuring the Glenwood Avenue Arts District, Duke's Bar, and the Glenwood Sunday Market has won a top four position in the Metropolitan Planning Commision's Placemaking Chicago contest.
The announcement and video was aired on WGN TV Friday, September 17, at 5:50 pm.

t's almost time for the Garden of Treasures Sale and Fundraiser, once again to be held at Jarvis Square the last Sunday in September. But for the sale to be a success we need your donations. Just think, your gently used garden and garden-themed items and dividings from your garden will be turned into cash that the RPGG will then provide to Adopt the Public Way grant recipients in 2011 to green Rogers Park. That's quite a recycling program!
