What Mary Jo Taught Me About Dating
Long term Executive Director of the Rogers Park West Ridge Historical Society, Mary Jo Doyle, a friend of mine who died two years ago, once taught me an important rule, one which people ought to follow their entire lives. Ask anyone who knows me: not only to do I consistently abide by this rule, but I constantly remind people who are important to me, i.e. my kids, or people on whom I rely, i.e. my office manager, my property managers, my bookie, to adhere to it. Super Betting, Illinois Style!
Of course, Super Bowl bets are made over many things: the final score, plus or minus the spread; whether the combined points scored is over or under a certain total, or whether the coin that the referee flips at the beginning of the game to decide who kicks off will end up being heads or tails. About Voting for Judges - on the eve of this year’s primary
Many of us never even make our way down to the bottom of the ballot. All of these judicial circuits; all of these names - some obviously Irish; others seem to be African American; and several clearly Jewish.
