Morseland is as much about atmosphere as Vito’s food. The beautiful hand-built oak and slate bar welcomes guests into the lounge. Velvet curtains adorn the rounded stage. A DJ booth centrally located in thedining room is surrounded by seating, reminiscent of an old-school piano bar. Two luxurious VIP booths offer couples or groups the option of both privacy and a premium view of the stage. A restored regulation pool table offers complimentary games. Notably omitted are neon signs, bright lights, or plastic sports schedules.

A true Chicago supper club, Morseland combines dining and music every night. The cabaret-style stage features live jazz every Sunday night. The Rob Denty trio performs two sets beginning at 9:00. On other nights, a lineup of some of Chicago’s best DJs present an eclectic lineup of dining music after 9pm, livening up their sets after dinner at 11pm.

This completely renovated space in the heart of Rogers Park replaces aformer nightclub. The classic terra cotta building, named ‘Morseland’ when it was built in 1928, originally housed a PigglyWiggly, the Purity Pastry Shop, and the North Branch of the Sherwood School of Music. Throughout the years it has also been home to a wholesale supplier, an antique dealer, and a Chinese restaurant.
