Double Header brings you the most promising stand-up comics in Chicago alongside two of the strongest headliners in town. Each night will feature the same supporting lineup, but in different roles, so audiences are guaranteed two entirely different shows. Local comedian Kelsie Huff headlines Friday’s Double Header performance. Huff writes and performs one woman shows around the city and her most recent show “Bruiser: Tales from a Traumatized Tomboy” garnered rave reviews. Time Out Chicago wrote, “Huff animates her 60-mintue solo show with an elastic face and a striking gaze, the irises of her aquamarine eyes popping from the whites like double exclamation points…wicked sense of timing and knack for surprise.” Huff currently performs stand-up around Chicagoland and leads the all lady comedy showcase, the kates, at The Book Cellar in Lincoln Square and coproduces and performs in Stardust Showcase at Undergound Lounge in Wrigleyville.
