Jane Byrne Funeral Procession Passing Through Rogers Park on Way to Calvary Cemetary

11.17.14—Upon hearing the sounds of helicopters hovering overhead this afternoon, one could quickly surmise that the helicopters served another purpose than crime surveillance - this time, the copters were television crews documenting the funeral procession of Chicago's first and only female mayor, the feisty and energentic Mayor Jane Byrne, as her funeral procession took her to her final resting place (amongst other former Mayors and other famous Chicagoans), at Calvary Cemetery.
